A downloadable game

It took 30 years to complete this game. I started coding the engine in 1994 (I think) and when I sold my Amiga in 1997 I lost the disks with the source code. In 2020 when I started using Amigas again I could not find the source code anywhere. So I rewrote it from memory. It's not the "same" engine but I like to think that it is. :) The engine (and the game) was completed after 3 months and then I forgot all about it.

Download-link removed. An optimised and bugfixed version will hopefully be available soon. Preliminary release date is September 2054. :)

Any update on this one? Thanks.

Is the DL link ever going to go back up? This looks really cool.

Also don’t see a DL link

Download link ?

Thanks!!

Is there a way to launch it in FS-UAE?
I attached the HD image, and set shadowmage PRELOAD in WHDLoad parameters, but I end up with a "Slave is illegal, because consists of more than one hunk" error.

I'm a bit at a loss.

Not sure what you are trying to do here. Unpack the lha-file to any location on your harddrive (on the Amiga) and run the game.

I am trying to run it on the FS-UAE emulator. Usually when dealing with HD install games it's enough to mount the .lha file as a harddrive, and specify the executable in the WHDLoad parameter line. In case of Shadowmage, I get an error when trying to do this. And yes, the game runs fine if installed on  the real hardware. The reason I want the FS-UAE to be able to start it, is because I'm using an external game library launcher.

Ah, ok. Not sure if I can help you though. Let me know if you get it to work.

Nice game!

A 68030? Does that mean it runs on old Macintosh machines?

No, you'll need an Amiga to run it.

Great work anyway looks awesome
